Chloe Brown is a PhD student in English, specializing in Folklore. Her current research investigates the cultural interchange between urban tourists visiting Lake Cumberland and the rural residents of the area. She is also interested in Southern and Appalachian identity and the way regional identity is discussed and constructed through narrative. Chloe holds a Master’s degree in Folk Studies from Western Kentucky University. She also earned her bachelor degree from WKU, majoring in English for Secondary Teachers, English Literature, and Spanish and completing a minor in Folk Studies.
