Congratulations to Cristina Benedetti, who completed her PhD candidacy exam process with the oral defense. On her committee were Shilarna Stokes (Theatre), Isaac Weiner, Katey Borland, and Dorry Noyes chairing. Cristina now moves forward to planning her dissertation exploring the logics, logistics, and politics of gatherings on the National Mall in Washington, DC.
