This group of Mexican American men grew up in South Lorain in the 1940’s. They describe growing up among other ethnic groups while growing up bilingual and bicultural in this small neighborhood in Northeast Ohio. They talk about life in the 1940’s, the different clubs and organization they help build to keep the Mexican culture alive and how over the past few decades, the group has made a commitment to continue to gather. Every Tuesday, they meet for breakfast to connect and continue to keep their own memories alive.
