Join the Folklore Student Association for a panel that explores the social role of language in the construction of the everyday. Using the lens of sociolinguistic analysis, our discussants will interrogate various forms of vernacular linguistic practice.

Discussants include Gabriella Modan (English), Kristy Fagersten (Visiting Scholar in English), and Lauren Squires (English), with opening remarks by Amy Shuman (English).
