Congratulations to Tessa Jacobs, who is now a candidate for the PhD after having brilliantly defended her qualifying exam this afternoon. Tessa is working with Dorry Noyes, Katey Borland, Amy Shuman, and Tommy Davis. She will return to California soon to take up her dissertation fieldwork on responses to environmental disaster in the bohemian intentional community of Mountain Drive.
