Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Ignacia y Torentino Rodriguez

Ignacia and Torentino met in Celina, OH when they were both working in the agricultural fields. They both grew up in South Texas, but Ignacia was born in Mexico. Their story is an excellent account of Latino life in Ohio, their commitment to the Mexican-American community and their desire to see their children succeed and have a better life. They were interviewed at their restaurant, Casa Rodriguez, where they continue to make traditional menudo every weekend.
