CFS Alumna Creates Folkloristics and Applied Heritage Studies MA in Estonia

selijamaa

Elo-Hanna Seljamaa (PhD Comparative Studies 2012), current Research Fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Estonian and Comparative Folklore at the University of Tartu, created a new English-language MA program in Folkloristics and Applied Heritage Studies, which is just being launched for the autumn. She has also co-edited a special issue of Ethnologia Europaea, "Silence in Cultural Practices,” including an article of her own on the role of silence in ethnic co-existence in Baltic countries. One example of our alums doing exciting work in the world!
