Craycraft wins Bjornson Prize

Sarah Craycraft

Congratulations to Sarah Craycraft, who won the Richard Bjornson Prize for best essay by a graduate student for her paper “The Mule as Motif in the Ohio Valley Research Project,” based on a mid-20th century collection in the Folklore Archives! In the words of her nominator Dorry Noyes, “This is just what a seminar paper can do but rarely does: test new material against an established scholarly conversation and find a new insight.”
