John Florian was a Columbus Solidarity activist and a key figure in the Columbus-Copapayo Sister City Project. Along with Bill Barndt, Ann Chambers, Ron Meyers, and others he traveled to Copapayo with delegations and campaigned against U.S. support of the El Salvadoran government and its campaign against Salvadoran citizens. Boxes 8 and 9 contain newspaper clippings, correspondence, and photographs from his time working with the Sister City Project.
