Elena Costello nació y creció en Ohio. Elena Costello was born in raised in Ohio. As a young girl, she recalls spending time in Guerrero, Mexico and in the U.S. and believes this to be a rich and unique experience for people like her. In Ohio, and as the daughter of an immigrant mother, she remembers trying to find connection with other Latinas/os by visiting grocery stores and interacting with other Spanish-speakers.
