Patricia Ratcliff is from Oaxaca, Mexico. She moved to the U.S. in 2006 and talks to us about her childhood in Oaxaca, her family life and traditions. She completed her professional education as a dentist in Mexico, but once she moved to Ohio she talks about the difficulty of being able to work in this field. Ratcliff details her complicated relationship with moving into a new country, one that offers wonderful education opportunities for her children, but might not be as welcoming for adult professionals like herself.
