The sessions include Creative Connecting Over Zoom, Facilitating Inclusive Meetings, Creative Self Care for Community Leaders, and a Teach & Learn Skill Swap.  These workshop sessions are for anyone in Ohio who leads meetings or holds groups of any kind. Please pass this information along to those in your networks or organizations who you think might be interested in this opportunity.  We encourage folks who work with communities of all abilities, ages, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and identities to join us. Each session is scheduled for two hours over zoom and are completely covered by an OSU Global Arts & Humanities Discovery Theme grant with no cost you! The sessions can stand alone, or you can attend several and build upon your skills. Creative Connecting over Zoom (including check ins and play) Register Here!   Thursday, March 11 4-6 PM EST or Friday, March 19 9-11 AM EST Now that everything is on zoom, many people feel burnt out.  Zoom fatigue is a real thing: meeting after meeting… listening to someone talk or going around introducing ourselves.  It can be so much more interesting and even create the types of conversations we feel like we only have between activities -- like mingling and authentically connecting.  In this session, we will learn ways to get to know each other and play almost like we would in person.    Using interactive tools for online platforms, we will share various team-building exercises, games, and activities that you can use with any group to build trust and engagement and feel more connected in a time of isolation.  This session is for anybody who leads meetings on zoom and wants to foster more connection and sharing, bringing creativity and play into the work.  This workshop is free and will take place in one two-hour session. If you attend and find it beneficial, we can discuss bringing the workshop to your organization or team.  If you have a good idea you want to try out, we want to help you get to implementation. After participating, you will also be eligible for participating in our small grants program to support and sustain your own creative leadership. If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Moriah Flagler at flagler.4@osu.edu. Requests made two weeks before the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
