Cultural Resilience Reading Group Meeting
The Mershon Research Network in Cultural Resilience will hold a second reading group meeting, this time to discuss Amartya Sen's Development as Freedom (New York: Knopf, 1999) and its implications for small-scale cultural and linguistic practice. Coffee and something to munch on will sustain our conversation.
As before, books will be ordered at SBX and will be free to students who pre-register. Otherwise, the book costs about $17. In order to provide SBX with a base estimate, those interested in participating will need to email Cassie Patterson ASAP at patterson.493@osu.edu, letting her know whether you will need a copy of the book and whether you are a student.
