Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Environmental Humanities/Citizenship Mobile Coffee

September 14, 2016
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Research Commons, 3rd Floor, 18th Ave Library

Hosted by the Humanities Institute

The Humanities Institute is having an organizing (and coordinating) meeting for Environmental Humanities/Citizenship/Sustainability, taking stock of new initiatives, events, courses, people and ideas.

It's shaping up to be an exciting moment for environmental humanities/citizenship at OSU, with momentum building from both inside and outside.  Come hear about plans for a pilot program in Environmental Humanities, collaborative creative work addressing climate change, a postdoctoral fellowship at our Office for Energy and Environment, projects by the Ohio Humanities Council--and that's not all! The goal is to learn about emerging plans,  to identify opportunities to work together, and to establish some tentative time-lines for maximum impact.

This event is being supported by the Humanities and the Arts Discovery Theme "mobile coffee" program and the Humanities Institute.  This event is free and open to all.
