Dr. Jessica Turner, Executive Director of the American Folklore Society, will discuss folklore’s long engagement with public humanities work, speaking to the ethical and methodological commitments that folklorists’ contribute to the public humanities. Turner will outline specific projects and initiatives that guide community- and policy-based initiatives in non-profit spaces across the world.
