Spring Picnic
Join the CFS to celebrate the completion of the 2016-2017 academic year.The recipients of the Barnes and Mullen Student Paper Awards will be announced at 6:00 p.m. The Folklore Student Association will also announce the winner of the 2017 Dan Barnes Joke Award. Since 2006, the OSU Folklore Student Association has sponsored an annual Joke Award. The Dan Barnes Joke Award (formerly known as the Amy Shuman Joke Award), is given to the person who submits the best response to a joke prompt for that year. The winner is chosen by a popular vote among the attendees at the annual potluck. So, what is this year's prompt? It looks like there's a new band in town! We are excited to introduce to you the up and coming group, Dorry & the Noise! To celebrate, you're invited to submit song titles to be included on D&tN's debut album, Eat Your Heritage! You are encouraged to send your smashing song titles to varajon.1@osu.edu, but you may also submit your ideas in person at the potluck!
