The Center for the Study of Religion and the Center for Folklore Studies invite interested faculty and graduate students to join our 2020/2021 working group on Religion, Health, and Healing. Members of the working group will be charged with meeting monthly to discuss the development of curriculum at the intersection of religion and medicine, as well as joining in conversation with the vibrant group of scholars that the Centers will be hosting as part of their 2020/2021 speakers series, Living Well: Religion, Health, and Healing. With the support of funding from the Global Arts and Humanities Discovery Themes, the Centers will be able to offer each member of the working group a modest honorarium of $500 in research funds, with a total budget allowing us to invite up to six people to join the working group.

For more information, or to indicate interest in joining the working group, please contact Prof Melissa Anne-Marie Curley (curley.32). The working group will convene for the first time at the end of September.
