Bobby Dahlberg-Sears will be performing dissertation fieldwork as a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Comparative Culture at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan beginning in June (or whenever the border re-opens). He will be supported in his work by an Ethnomusicology  Fieldwork Grant from the School of Music and a Career Development Grant from the Council of Graduate Students. He is also an alternate for a Japan Foundation Graduate Studies Research Grant to support 12 months of field work and is currently, patiently searching for four-leaf clovers while crossing his fingers and trying to find a vegan substitute for a rabbit's foot.
