Affiliated faculty member, Dr. Elena Foulis, attended the NEH Summer Institute on Translation titled, "What's Gained in Translation," at Kent State Univeristy. Elena presented on her experience as a translator for the Cleveland Public Theater (Teatro Publico de Cleveland), where she translated and worked on subtitles for the spring play, Labio de Liebre (Lip of the Hare). Dr. Foulis plans to continue to look at the performative nature of translators in Latin@ theater.
