Folkwise is Youtube channel created by a group of folklorists to explore the ways folklore connects to their personal and academic interests. The main hosts are spread out across the United States, and all have spent at least a little time in graduate school studying folklore. The hosts want this channel to give different types of folklore and the people who share it a space to be celebrated, supported, and learned from. They also make videos featuring commentary and academic discussions on various topics connected to folklore. This channel is brand new and expects to make monthly (if not bi-monthly) videos.
