Congratulations to Appalachian Project member Kayley Kick, who received an internship this year with the Governor's Office of Appalachia! Hayley is now the second AP student to fill this role, following Brooke Walters from last year, who learned about the internship after the Project received grant funding for research conducted in 2013-2014. Hayley will handle a variety of responsibilities in her new role, including answering constituent calls, conducting research for the Director or Deputy Director of the GOA, and creating documents for internal office use. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in further research and/or careers in areas of development for Appalachia.
