Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. CFS Potluck with Eija Stark

Potluck food items on a table.
October 7, 2019
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
RSVP for event location

Join us for a potluck dinner to welcome our upcoming visitor, Eija Stark. These gatherings are designed to provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and friends to interact with CFS guests in an informal setting. If you are unable to provide a potluck dish, do not let that stop you!

Eija Stark is a Finnish folklorist and oral historian from Helsinki, the site of SIEF’s next meeting.  She is particularly interested in working class history. She will be giving a lecture on the impact of narratives as social weapons on Wednesday, October 9th (see event page). Join us at the potluck to hear what the field is like in Northern Europe, how the profession is organized, and how Finnish archives collect and disseminate their materials.

RSVP to Mariah Marsden(.11) for the event address; please RSVP by Wednesday, October 2nd (if possible) so that we can gauge attendance.
