Yuanhao (a.k.a. Graham) would like to pursue a GIS in Folklore Studies. His home department is Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, but he has taken many graduate courses with folklorists from four departments: English, Comparative studies, Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, and East Asian studies. Yuanhao just passed my candidacy exams this June, and now is doing field work (funded by Mershon Center and Center for Folklore Studies)  in and around a "Hui" Muslim village in China, hoping to collect enough data for his dissertation.
