Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Laura Pearce is the Program Coordinator, Fulbright Scholar and Fulbright-Hays Programs at The Ohio State University. Laura's topics of research have included how the folklore of one culture is presented by another, modern adaptations of old folktales, and medieval Chinese travel literature. She's particularly interested in how Central Asia is represented in China, and how China is represented in the United States. And more informally, in young adult retellings of fairy tales.
